Issue: 

Certain games updating from 2008 to 2008.5 software may lose the local 
AMI music catalog after installing the software update. 

Games affected: 

Only certain games using the delta disc to update from version 2008  
(V24.04, V24.05 and V24.06) to 2008.5 (V25.01) software that are linked 
to an AMI jukebox may be affected. 

Symptoms: 

The local music catalog will not appear. All album jackets in the local 
catalog will appear as Music On Demand. 

Solution:  

There are three options to receive the catalog after installing the 2008.5 
software update: 

Option 1: If you used the broadband software download, your game will 
download the local catalog automatically during the next call into the 
server. 

Option 2: Before going to the game location, download the latest AMI 
catalog from our Web site (www.meritgames.com/amidatabase.asp). 
Follow the online instructions to copy the catalog onto a USB pen or 
disc. After installing the 2008.5 software update, install the AMI catalog 
via disc or USB pen. 

Option 3: The game will also download the latest catalog automatically, 
but you will have to clear the current catalog from the machine first. To 
do this, press the setup button to enter operator setup. Then touch 
SystemAMI Setup, and then Clear Info. Touch the box next to 
Catalog to clear the catalog and then touch Yes. Confirm that you want 
to continue by touching Yes again. When complete, the game will return 
to the AMI Setup Screen. Touch Connect on this page to start the 
download process. This process could take anywhere from 30-90 
minutes. If time is a factor for you, we recommend using option #2 to 
install the music catalog.
